Job Description:
Manager, Service Management - 3 month Contract
Our client is a pan European Telecoms provider of voice, data and managed services to the Enterprise, Public Sector and Carrier market places. Due to expansion they are looking for a Manager, Service Management - Contract to support the Major Enterprise Department (MED).
Qualified candidates must have a thorough knowledge of voice (CPS, WLR, VoIP) and Data solutions (for example MPLS, IP connectivity) and managed services (Data centre solutions, hosting, managed applications, storage, security ) and have extensive experience or working with Multinational clients.
Role purpose
- Leads individual areas of support services and/or leads the development and introduction of new products and solutions in line with business requirements to support the business's technical functions
Key Accountabilities:
- Owns the delivery of services to all customers
- Implements the standards, KPIs and best practice as determined by the Operations Functional Heads
- Manages delivery co-ordination, customer site planning and capacity management, installation, commissioning, planning and construction, node operations, OLO delivery and field and customer site maintenance
- Reviews processes and implements actions to deliver agreed improvements
- Owns and resolves Operations escalations for Service Delivery
- Must be comfortable to spend up to 3 and possibly 4 days out travelling each week
Key requirements
- Service Management experience
- ITIL qualification
- Knowledge of German and or Spanish is essential
- Experience of working with Managed Services
- Telecoms experience is a bonus
